Krambach Hotel – Annual Iron Man Competition

Krambach Hotel will be holding their annual Iron Man Competition and fundraiser on Australia Day, Sunday 26^th January. This year’s funds will go towards local Firies; Krambach and Firefly. The fun will kick off at 1:00 pm with 8 heats of the Iron Man Competition. All ages are invited to join in, with heats for men, women, kids and grandparents. Each heat will include eating a traditional Vegemite Sayo or Wheat Bix, Sculling a Drink, Rolling a Keg, Riding a toy Horse or Kangaroo, writing the words ‘Krambach Iron Man’ with the wrong hand on a chalk board, then finishing with Ironing a Shirt to showcase your ‘Iron Man’ skills. The winner will receive the perpetual ‘Iron Man’ trophy, and there will also be a ‘Golden Galah’ award for the most enthusiastic participant on the day. The Charity Auction will be conducted after heat four with some great donated items, such as local services, meals, local produce and 50 schooners. There will also be the very popular Thong Throwing Competition between heats with a great prize to the overall winners, Tug of War;  Australia vs. the Rest of the World, a lunch time Sausage Sizzle run by the Krambach School, with all the proceeds going to the school, and the renowned entertainers, The Trapps, who will play from 7:00 pm.
